CandleLab is a place to practise reading charts. Please read this before you rely on anything you learn here.
Educational only
Everything on CandleLab (lessons, drills, quizzes, the simulator, scores and feedback) is for education and practice. None of it is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and none of it is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. We don’t know your situation, and we don’t tell anyone how to trade their money.
Simulated data
The charts are generated by a computer to look and move like a 5-minute futures chart. They are not live or historical market data, and they don’t show real orders, real volume or what any real market did. Patterns can behave differently on real charts.
Results don’t predict anything
Practice scores, simulated profits and losses, passed practice accounts, XP, levels and streaks measure how you did on simulated charts. Past or simulated results don’t predict future results, in practice or in real trading. Doing well here doesn’t mean you will make money, and it isn’t a measure of whether you’re ready to trade.
Practice accounts aren’t real evaluations
The simulator’s account rules are simplified practice versions of rules that are common in the industry. They aren’t the rules of any particular company, CandleLab isn’t connected to any trading firm or broker, and passing a practice account here says nothing about passing a real one.
Trading carries real risk
Trading futures and other leveraged products can lose money quickly, including more than you put in. Only trade with money you can afford to lose, and consider talking to a licensed professional before you do.
Mistakes
We work to keep the lessons accurate, but they can contain errors or simplifications. If you spot one, please tell us. See the terms for the rest.
